It is with great sadness that we bring news of Paul’s choice to resign as bass player for Stone Train. Stone Train has been blessed to have him since the beginning and his dedication to the band and skill with the bass are unparalleled. Paul, you will be missed! We love you!
Over the next month we will be auditioning for a new bass player. Paul wears pretty big shoes, so we have some criteria.
A few things to note for prospective players:
1. Stone Train has been writing and preparing to record an original album – we need you studio ready ASAP!
2. Stone Train also plays close to 100 cover songs and has several private events/weddings on the horizon – we need you to already know some or learn our songs SUPER FAST! See our current song list here: http://www.StoneTrain.com/
3. Plan to rehearse with us about once a week. At rehearsals we prepare for upcoming gigs, and work on original music. About 2-3 hours.
4. Be available for gigs at least once or twice a month and be willing to do more as we grow together as a band and expand. (gigs usually fall on Fri/Sat – sometimes Sundays for day time events)
We are looking for someone who is committed to music and to co-creating a powerful and musically “tight” band. We are transitioning more towards originals; however, we intend to keep our solid cover song list in tact so we can remain available for great gigs like weddings and private events. Our original sound can best be classified as Bluesy Rock…..
Our ideal bass player is someone with personal integrity, amazing skill at the instrument, creative, high vibrational, heart centered, and who knows how to have a BLAST making music! Ability to sing backup vocals is a plus.
If you have a drinking problem, don’t apply. We need all our players on the top of their game as we take Stone Train to the next level!

1. Send us any video and/or audio of you playing bass
2. Include a brief statement of why you would like to join Stone Train and how you see yourself adding value to the band.

It’s bittersweet as we say goodbye to Paul and look forward to finding another amazing bass player to rock out with.

The Encinitas Market, a new underground market with a hand-made focus, is teaming up with the Seaside Bazaar, a well established weekly Bazaar… in the funky beach town of Encinitas, to bring you “Bizarre meets Bazaar Holiday Market” December 17th & 18th 9am – 4pm. This exciting event will feature fabulous free live music, and all sorts of unique shopping opportunities for the holidays. We invite you to join us for the day, enjoy the music, sip a cup of joe, and peruse the treasures you’re sure to find here for this special event.
The Bizarre: Beebo Originals and friends have hosted several successful occasional markets outside of Beebo’s studio near Moonlight Beach, featuring amazing live music and entertainment with a bit of a circus flair, paired with a market highlighting the wares of smaller, local designers and high quality hand crafts with a unique edge.
The Bazaar: The Seaside Bazaar has been a staple of the downtown Encinitas scene since 1985 bringing you a European-style open air market every Saturday & Sunday all year long. With many vendors selling antiques, arts & crafts, clothing, home décor, imports, and more, the Seaside Bazaar has been a pleasure for locals and tourists alike for decades!

Join us for a unique shopping experience and wonderful entertainment for the whole family. All just a block away from Moonlight Beach!
Here you will find a collection of artisans and performers who love what they do and create most of their products themselves! Largely inspired by the creativity of underground music and arts festivals, this collection of entrepreneurs adds a little funk to your everyday style. From subtle to over the top, you won’t find their designs in any store-front! What you will see here are vendors of locally designed and produced clothing and accessories, as well as an infusion of visual art, performance props, and imported treasures.
